Review

The movie, Salt, was, overall superior and original. It became a little confusing, but you understand it eventually. It has a great plot and it is well-thought-out. It is full of surprises, twists, suspense, and cliffhangers that make you want to keep watching. The beginning is a bit confusing though.

The beginning starts off with Angelina Jolie (playing Evelyn Salt) being beaten and her telling her husband it's not safe. The movie then fast-forwards to where her bruises and swollen, black eye heals, and her husband is dead. She doesn't find that out until later though... At first, she is working with the CIA and a Russian comes into the interrogation room. (She has blonde hair in this part.) She enters the interrogation room and the mysterious, Russian, old man talks to her. (I would recommend turning on the subtitles because it is awfully hard to understand his accent.) The man, soon later, tells her a story about a Russian spy. This man (from what you know when you're watching it then) doesn't know her or her name. He tells her the story of a Russian spy that kills either the American or Russian president. (I didn't turn the subtitles on.) He says the spy's name is Evelyn Salt. She says no and that her name is Evelyn Salt. She argues it is impossible. Her colleagues don't believe her. Then she gets into a mini battle with them, with guns and bombs.

From there, the movie pretty much goes on like that. There was fighting and shooting, and bombing and stabbing. Some people may get bored, fall asleep, or loose themselves in what she's doing. Others, on the other hand, eat that stuff up! Some absolutely love all the warfare.

I would recommend this to people who like mysteries and putting pieces together. If you're good at this, you would love this movie. I would also advocate this movie to people who LOVE action and adventure. Recommendations are recommended especially to people who enjoy car crashes, and creative ways of killing people.

I would, IN NO WAY, suggest this movie to people who enjoy bloodshed, killing and/or fighting. I would agree that the special effects are a little overdone. If you get confused easily or zone out in movies, you shouldn't watch this movie.

All in all, I would give this movie a six out of ten. Ten being great and amazing and one being horrible and I want to burn the DVD. I would give this a six because of the following things:

Positives:

· Special Effects

· Good Acting

· Great Plot

· Technology Used in Movie

· Destruction

Negatives:

· Special Effects - A Little Overdone

· Too Much Fighting (Most of Movie)

· Confusing

· Unrealistic
